One New Thing Every Day

From the day I turned 29, I tried to do one new thing a day... it took a few extra months, but I did it! Now I'll post new things randomly as I try them.

#6 - First haircut

Nope, not for me. Today we took our adorable son for his first haircut. (See before and after photos, left.) As you can imagine, us adults were a little keyed up about it, but he did great! From the moment he sat in the chair to the minute we left the shop, he was quiet and amazingly good. I stood right next to him in case he was nervous, but he just looked around and watched in the mirror. AND he patiently let both of us get ours done afterwards! We both agree he looks older with the shorter hair. What do you think?

After reviewing the first six entries, I am favorably impressed with your blog and your one new thing every day campaign. Only one question - how come we got to see a photo of the Taco Soup (which admittedly looked very tasty) and no photo of the sock war??

Awww... he looks absolutely adorable!! I haven't yet braved the haircut for either one of my girls. But you're giving me hope that it might not be as bad as I'm fearing. :)

Ha ha, AW, one doesn't have time for taking pictures during a sock war! After all, it was WAR! Which, I will admit, the little guy won.
